Laya Yoga Explanation

Laya Yoga is a meditative tradition centered on dissolving the sense of a separate self into subtler and subtler layers of awareness — "laya" means dissolution or absorption. It typically works through sound (mantra, nada), rhythm, and breath rather than physical postures, using repetition to draw attention inward until the mind settles into stillness. Here's what practitioners and teachers generally point to as its benefits: Nervous system regulation, Quieting mental chatter, Deeper states of stillness and absorption, Emotional and energetic release, Increased capacity for presence, Connection to something beyond the personal self.
