Join me for a 30 minute meditation of the Kirtan Kriya SA TA NA MA.

Friday May 29

12 noon EST/ 9 AM PST

The Kirtan Kriya is one of the most complete meditations in the Kundalini tradition — and one of the most studied. In just 30 minutes, it works on every level: body, mind, and spirit.

The practice combines four elements — mantra, mudra, breath, and visualization — moving through three layers of sound: aloud, whispered, and silent. Each layer reaches a different register of your awareness, taking you from the outer world inward, and from the inner world into something beyond.

The mantra SA TA NA MA traces the fundamental cycle of existence — infinity, life, death, rebirth. You are not just repeating sounds. You are recognizing something already true about all living things, including you.

What the research shows: Regular practice has been shown to improve memory and cognitive function, sharpen focus and concentration, reduce stress and cortisol levels, improve sleep, and support long-term brain health. It has been studied specifically in relation to early memory loss, with notable results.

What the practice offers beyond that: A felt sense of connection — to others, to yourself, and to something larger. A quieting of the mental noise that keeps us contracted. An opening into the parts of ourselves we don't usually bring forward.

You don't need experience with meditation or yoga. This practice meets you exactly where you are — and gently shows you there is a world within you calling for your exploration.
